That question always comes later. McSync writes down every run: when it ran, how long it took, which file went where — and what went wrong.

- If a copy fails, the reason is right there, not just “error”.

Fast, or dead certain
Normally McSync spots changes by size and date — that is quick. When you want to be absolutely sure, it compares the files byte by byte. You decide whether you prefer speed or certainty.
A real Mac app
Proper windows instead of dialogues, keyboard shortcuts, dark mode, a notification when a run finishes. System clutter nobody wants to see is left out by itself.
